the one and only

She was too shy and too uncomfortable with the Idol format to ever progress very far in the comp, but what she did was enough to stick in the minds of music lovers like myself.
Far away from the glare of the Idol stage Lisa Mitchell has been quietly working away at her music. And it looks like it’s finally paying off. She scored a record deal with Scorpio Music and she’s currently in London recording her debut album. She’ll work with British producer Ant White, known for his work with Arctic Monkeys and M.I.A., on the release. She’s also written some songs with Clare Bowditch and Kevin “Bob Evans” Mitchell, but she’s unsure whether they’ll make the final cut.

lakyn what?

everyone knows, the voice. Channel 9 TV show. classic talent contest to see who becomes the most famous and once again we have a teen heart throb every second girl is in love with. The thing is, as i was doing my research for this kid, realizing that his good looks is what is going to win him the competition. BUT not only is he good looking, and plays guitar, which every teenager 'wants' in a guy. He has covered some of the best bands/ artists (in my opinion) starting with Mumford & Sons, Matt Corby (being his 'idol'), Architecture in Helsinki, The Rubens, The Paper Kites, Florence and The Machine and The Black Keys, for me he is winning in that department, and that only. Considering following the trends and doing what 'in' isn't really my thing. The young man shows a lot of potential in becoming a great artist. Despite the girls chasing after him, and his shit performances on the voice - although kids and big jet plane. Shall be checking in with Lakyn after the voice is over, and see where he is at. Matt corby is still my husband.

The boy, they scream over
